Duct Cleaning Advices
Saturday, April 4th, 2009Generally, people who are allergic to dust or suffering from asthma should do it once a year but you are way off your air duct cleaning schedule. You must do it.
You can ask following questions related to their work
- Do they use a system where all of the vacuum equipment is outside of your hose (normally, it is truck mounted).
-A caution: Services from big chains/franchise does not mean good work. I would rather get a local guy that has been doing air duct cleaning for long time.
-Ask them how many crew members will be working on it (preferred 2 people)
Once every 1-2 years is sufficient and in your case you should definitely do it. I am sure that this is one of the contributing factors in your house getting dusty.
